Celebrate the holidays with bricks from a galaxy far, far away...

The holidays here in the UK won't be complete without an advent calendar. For my wife, it's Disney's Micro Tsum Tsum Advent Calendar, and as for me, I just carried on from last year with LEGO Star Wars. Star Wars Advent Calendar [75184] may not be as festive as the previous ones but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. Opening a little present everyday is really fun! I'm already looking forward the first first December my baby girl will open her own advent calendar besides us. I wonder what theme she'll choose? Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be blissful...

What's behind Doors 1 to 24?

Back to the set, the builds from this year mainly revolved around Star Wars Rebels, Rogue One, and The Force Awakens. Rumor has it, next year's advent calendar will already involve elements from The Last Jedi! The microbuilds, as usual, were ingeniously designed using only a few bricks. And if I need to pick a favorite, it has to be the Y-wing. I don't know if I'm just biased with this spacecraft, but I really find the micro Y-wing to be intricately designed despite it's limitations. For the minifigures, there were no specially made minifigs this year, but obtaining Sabine Wren cheaply is good enough for me.
